The Grand Quay of the Port of Montreal

We return to Montréal’s Old Port for yet another incredible summer in Canada’s culture capital. Startupfest 2023 is taking place at the Grand Quay of the Port of Montreal at 200 de la Commune St W, Montréal, Québec.

Join us this summer at Montreal’s Grand Quay, waterfront, with the addition of the iconic Port of Montreal tower and 360 degree observation deck. This year will boast an indoor/outdoor venue with spectacular views of the city and expansive space for networking in Canada’s festival city.

Startupfest hours

July 12: Content starts at 1pm, Doors open at noon, Kick-Off Cocktail from 5pm to 9pm
July 13: Content starts at 10am, Doors open at 9am
July 14: Content starts at 11am, Doors open at 10am

Getting to the Grand Quay

By car

There is 24/7 paid parking available starting at $25 for 12 hours, and the lot can accommodate up to 250 cars. Reduced-mobility and electric charging stations are available. Vehicles with trailers and motor-home type vehicles are not allowed on the site. Please follow directions to 200 De la Commune Street West, Montréal.

By public transportation

  • Metro: Take the orange line to Square-Victoria or Place-d’Armes stations. The metro departs every 3-10 minutes depending on the time of day. From the station it is approximately a 10 minute walk to the venue, or you can catch a bus.
  • Bus: Take the bus lines 715, 35, 61, or 75. For additional information on public transit, schedules, and fares, please visit www.stm.info/en.
  • By taxi or Uber:​ ​​​You can direct your driver to the Grand Quai du Port de Montréal. We will be located at 200 De la Commune Street West, Montréal.

By bike

Bicycle parking spaces are available at the venue. Please bring your own lock for your bike. There are also bike sharing BIXI stations nearby, view the map, here. (Note: The Bixi stations do fill up quickly in the morning)
