Introducing the official Startupfest fundraiser: portraitX. This groundbreaking project combines art and tech to empower youth by forging strong bonds both online and off. With dynamic workshops and their bespoke app, portraitX transcends ordinary learning—this is a bold step towards safer, tighter-knit communities. Startupfest is proud to bring this transformative, half-day experience to life during its 14th edition. 

All proceeds from this event (both ticket sales and sponsorship) will go directly towards portraitX and their fabulous initiatives throughout the year

Join us at Grand Quai Tower in Old Montreal for an exhilarating day at the portraitX Fundraiser Event on Friday, July 12th:

  • Interactive Art Workshop (2-4 PM) | Discover the portraitX app and create your own digital masterpieces. Explore the exciting blend of art and technology in a hands-on session.
  • Panel Discussion (4-5 PM) | Art, Tech and Youth: Fueling social impact in a digital world. Hear from experts and youth advocates on how art and technology can transform today’s society, with portraitX at the forefront of change for good.
  • Cocktail Reception (5-7 PM) | Enjoy refreshments and connect with fellow Changemakers, surrounded by breathtaking views and inspiring art displays created using the portraitX app.

About the President/Founder of Raison d’art - Lead on portraitX

In the past 25 years, Nathalie has worked as a social entrepreneur, an artist and a psychotherapist. Her love for art and her commitment to societal change are the driving forces behind portraitX. Nathalie holds a Masters in Art Therapy and a postgraduate degree in couple and family therapy. She has completed dozens of collective art projects for Canadian and international clients in France, Switzerland, Israel, Hong Kong and the United States. Her educational projects include Dawson College, HEC Montreal, as well as over 50 elementary and high schools across 7 school boards in Quebec and Ontario.
