Startupfest is seeking a diverse group of individuals with a wealth of experience as founders, funders, mentors and teachers, to take the spotlight this summer.We want people with dirt under their nails, who understand what it takes to build a startup.
Unlike other events, we don't look for speakers who just land, speak and sneak off backstage never to be seen from again - they take on the role of mentor as well. Our mentors lead intimate roundtable gatherings called 'Office Hours'; hosting open, candid discussions with founders, imparting invaluable advice and guidance.All speakers become mentors, but not all mentors become speakers. The first step is being selected as a mentor, and following that, you may be presented an onstage speaking opportunity as well.
