Richard Chénier (he/him)

Currently at the helm of Centech, one of the world's best university business incubators according to UBI-Global, Mr. Chénier occupies an essential place in the Montreal and Canadian start-up ecosystem. Centech is dedicated to deep tech startups in manufacturing, transport and logistics, telecoms and microelectronics, energy and industrial cleantech. Centech has also a strong branch of startups dedicated to digital health and medical devices.

In 2018, he was named by Urbania magazine as one of the 50 Quebecers who create the extraordinary. Since 2021, Mr. Chénier also sits on the Quebec Innovation Council, on the Board of Directors of Aéro Montréal and also on the advisory board of IRAP-NRC.

Prior to heading Centech, Mr. Chénier was director of ETS Formation, one of the largest continuing education services in Quebec. He also had the privilege of training and advising more than 10,000 managers as an organizational development consultant. He still continues to collaborate with the Institut du leadership en gestion.
