Head of Platform Operations, Georgian

David Tingle is Head of Platform Operations at Georgian, a growth-stage software investor based in Toronto, where his mission is to bring the best of Georgian's expertise to the portfolio. Specifically, David is a leader within Georgian's AI Lab, a team of machine learning researchers and experts that code side-by-side with portfolio companies to build and launch valuable AI software. He works closely with portfolio leadership teams to identify strategic opportunities for collaboration, leads cross-functional teams to execute on specific projects, and drives operational and cross-functional innovation across all aspects of how Georgian supports its portfolio. David joined Georgian from Google, where he worked closely with some of Google's largest omni-channel retail customers on bespoke data science initiatives. He holds degrees from the University of Toronto, McGill University, and Georgetown University.
