A Fulbright Scholar, Sam has studied financing and support systems for startups around the world. He has extensive experience as an angel investor, with a portfolio including companies in Aerospace & Defense, Agriculture, Healthcare, Insurtech, Logistics Tech and Advanced Materials. At Active Impact, Sam focuses on Infrastructure and Carbon Solutions innovations, and serves on the board of directors for SWTCH, Jaza, King Energy, Aquacycl and Flair.
Sam started his career as a middle school math teacher and proudly supports education reform and innovation.
