Hilary Kilgour (she/her)

Hilary Kilgour is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Audaxa Ventures, an early stage venture capital firm that invests in the most promising solutions at the intersection of climate and health that are being led by diverse Women and Non-Binary Founders.

Hilary is leading the way forward towards greater sustainable and socially responsible investments. As one of the first funds to focus on gender and impact in Canada, she has been pivotal in implementing strategies that balance business growth with advancing the impact. Hilary led the development of a measurement reporting tool and process based on best practices for triple bottom line portfolio success. Hilary is an Executive in Residence at MaRS Discovery District, Canada's largest innovation hub, and a Founder Services Advisor at ventureLAB, a leading tech hub that helps Canadian startups build, grow, and scale their businesses. She has previously served as Director of Investment for Spring and Director of Female Funders at Highline Beta.

Previously, Hilary led sustainability and innovation for global organizations for more than a decade. Her 15+ years of leadership experience spans Fortune’s 100 Fastest-Growing Companies, startups, and leading high growth, global brands in diverse sectors. Hilary has been recognized by Clean50, Corporate Knights and YWCA for her leadership in scaling impact for organizations including Lululemon, Hootsuite, and Grouse Mountain. She has served as a speaker and advisor for Google, Virgin Atlantic, Disney Interactive, Export Development Bank of Canada (EDC), Startup America and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. With an MBA in Sustainable Systems from Presidio Graduate School at the University of Redlands, she completed her undergraduate degree from Queen’s University where she was an All-Canadian athlete.

A recognized leader, Hilary is a frequent keynote speaker, facilitator, and trusted advisor on the topics of leadership, innovation, systems change, DEI, and scaling impact.
