Chris Emergui founded BAM Strategy, one of Canada’s first digital marketing agencies, in 1996. BAM Strategy grew to employ 100 people across North America and was recently sold to Level Agency. He also founded webSaver.ca, Canada’s leading grocery coupon site, which has distributed over 150 million coupons and donated more than 125,000 meals to Breakfast For Learning.
Chris was named the BDC Entrepreneur of the Year in 2000. He is heavily involved in the entrepreneurship community through both mentoring and investing, having served as a Venture Partner and Entrepreneur in Residence for venture capital firms like iNovia Capital. Additionally, Chris has sat on the boards of several non-profits and is dedicated to helping businesses and communities with strong social missions.
Over the past two years, Chris has focused his efforts as a Partner at MotherFood.org, an organization dedicated to preventing child and maternal malnutrition globally. His work is primarily centered in Africa, where he leads projects in Senegal, Ghana, Nigeria, and Kenya. MotherFood is on track to fortify over 50 million servings of nutrition for vulnerable communities in Africa in 2026.
