Tuyen Vo (she/her)

Managing Director & Head, Technology & Innovation Banking, National Bank of Canada

Tuyen has been working with successful entrepreneurs for nearly 20 years. A seasoned executive in commercial banking, corporate finance and technology banking, Tuyen heads Technology and Innovation Banking for National Bank of Canada, one of the Big Six Canadian banks. Her team specializes in tailoring non-dilutive growth financing ($1-200M+), including M&A and loan syndications, and comprehensive treasury solutions to private, VC/sponsor-backed, and public fast-growing companies in every hub of the Canadian innovation landscape.

Prior to joining NBC, Tuyen spent time at two other major Canadian banks, where she held leadership roles within commercial banking, retail and corporate risk divisions. She is most proud of the strong and engaged teams she’s built along the way.

Tuyen serves on NBC’s Inclusion & Diversity Council as the Female Talent segment Lead. She also sits on the board of MAIN – Mouvement des accélérateurs d’innovation du Québec, the LPAC of Accelia Capital, and is involved with many causes aligned with her convictions on education, the fight against poverty and the integration of immigrants.

Tuyen holds a finance degree from HEC Montréal, including a stint at the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris (Sciences Pô). Having lived on 4 continents, Tuyen is fluent in 3 languages and can order a drink in 5 more.
