Jennifer McDonald (she/her)

Jennifer McDonald is an investor and operator, with 25 years of experience building businesses for impact.

Since 2024 she has led the Origo program, investing at pre-seed and seed in climate tech at Cycle Momentum. Before joining Cycle Momentum, she was an active angel investor and advisor in the ecosystem. In 2018, she joined fintech Moka and as COO led it through a successful exit.

Her earlier career focused on inclusive fintech, in which she launched first-generation mobile banking and scaled lending to small businesses across Africa and Latin America. She is a mentor at CDL-Montréal and in Cycle Momentum’s accelerator.

Jennifer brings expertise in impact investing, early-stage strategy, market validation, from zero to one product development, building high-performing teams, and international expansion.
