Chantal Trépanier

With a background in education, from primary school to university, she was by no means predestined for an entrepreneurial career. With a degree in training management, she started out as a teacher before joining SIM, where her avant-garde ideas led her to propel the company onto an international scale by devising Cognibox, a SaaS software suite used to manage subcontracting compliance by major corporations in over 30 countries. A visionary, determined and passionate businesswoman, Chantal Trépanier stands out for her leadership and creativity in an environment where technological evolution poses considerable challenges for companies and their partners. Always on the lookout for new developments and focused on customer needs, Ms. Trépanier places innovation and development at the heart of her priorities. Winner of the Investissement Québec CEO of the Year Award in 2015, she is involved in Gouvernance au Féminin, an organization that supports the presence of women within companies and the entrepreneurial community. In addition to being heavily involved in entrepreneurship through the mentoring cell of Digihub, a major startup incubator, Ms. Trépanier sits on various boards, including that of CRIQ (Centre de recherche industrielle du Québec).
