Laura Lalonde (she/her)

Founder & CEO, GridBank

Laura Lalonde is the Founder and CEO of GridBank, a platform that enables everyday people to earn from real-world videos they already have on their phones. GridBank recently raised $6M in its seed round, with more investor demand than available space and is backed by leading venture firms across Canada and the United States.

Before starting GridBank, Laura was an award-winning performance marketer at Mistplay, where she led high-volume creative production. She needed a constant flow of new ads, and noticed that phone-shot videos from everyday people consistently outperformed traditional creatives. The challenge was getting that kind of content at scale, which ultimately led her to build GridBank.

Today, GridBank is building a new category at the intersection of user-generated content and performance marketing, making it easy for people to contribute and get paid for the content they are already capturing, while helping brands and agencies access authentic, real-world footage at scale to test and iterate winning creatives faster.
